poem

பிறந்த மனிதன்
சுடலையில் எரிகின்றான்
கறந்த பால்
கால் மணியில் திரள்கிறது
மறைந்த மனைவி
மாதத்தில் மறந்து போகிறாள்
திறந்த கடைகள்
வருடத்தில் மூடப்படுகின்றன.

மாற்றம் என்பது இதுதான்!
மாற்றத்தின் அர்த்தத்தை தவிர‌
மற்றதெல்லாம் மாறும்!
ஆற்றலின் அழிவின்மை போல...
சுற்றும் பூமியின் நிரந்தர சின்னம்!

காலி மைதானம்
கடைத்தொகுதியாவதும்
அறுபதுகள் கூடும் அரசடி

வடக்கே வல்லிபுரம், வண்ணை வைத்தீஸ்வரம்
குடம் குடமாய் பால் இறையும் நல்லூர்கந்தன்
கடல் நீரில் கானல் விளக்கெரிக்கும் வட்டாப்பளை
படகேறி பயணித்து பாவம் போக்கும் மணி பல்லவம்.

குட்டியன் வந்து
குந்து மீது ஏறி மணியடிக்க
அண்டை வீட்டு
அம்பலத்தான் ஆலவட்டம் பிடிக்க‌
முந்தநாள் முதிர் மலர் சொரிய‌
தொந்தி விநாயகருக்கு
பொந்து தேன் பலகாரம் படைக்க‌
குழந்தைகள் ஊர்முழுக்க
உணவின்றி இருக்க‌
செம்பு பால் நீராய் இறைய‌
வந்து ஐயர் மந்திரம் ஒலிக்க‌
மொந்தை கள்ளு
முகத்தில் வழிய‌
கந்தர் வந்து கனகதை கதைக்க‌
அண்டை நாட்டு தேர்தலும்

இன்பம் என்று ஒன்று உண்டோ
இங்கிதம் என்று உண்டோ
அன்பு மட்டும் போதுமொன்றோ
அந்த அன்று நின்றது,
அடி மீது அடி வாங்கி நின்றது.

கொடும் புயலாய் ஷெல் அடிக்கும்
துப்பாக்கி தேடி வெடிக்கும்
தேனாறு பாயும் நாட்டில் தாங்கிகள் ஊர்ந்து போகும்
என் இனமுற்ற நிலை கண்டு
இரும்பான நெஞ்சிலும் கலக்கம் கூடும்.

Today, she passed away,
I got to do,
The exam was screaming,
I spent last two weeks
In the hospital,
Incredible,
It was an A+ and,
She was my mom……

I was irritated,
Nearly embarrassed to death,
Wanted to kill everyone there,
Sadistic personality slowly coming out,
Laughed and asked,
Would you mind me coming tomorrow also?
I wanted that work to be done…

Wanted to accept
Parent's proposal,
Silently said,
Voice maybe dead but cheering,
I would've done the same……

Don't know where I am heading to,

- Circumstantial cavalier

Born man, cremated in blaze.
Milked lactic, ferments in few hours.
Passed spouce, blanked out in few weeks.
Portakabin vanishes in few months
And Edifices in few years.
Change! Everything other than
Its definition changes.
Akin to the perpetuation of energy,
The ultimate symbol of the revolving world.

Empty ground into shopping complex,
Bumpy lanes into highways,
Cottages into hotels,
Eye-catching landscapes into bridges.
For the dawn of tomorrow,
Burning candles, today.

But how do you call,Hoggish plunges?
Reconstruction Or Statesmanship?

Change not only in tangibles
But also in relations
Ignored friendship to be in concord with the community
As the demolition of
Kandakar Buddha statue,
Importance changes!

While Jupiter takes ten years,
I who revolve around the sun
At least sixty times, before the death,
Have what right to talk about?

You may wonder why such boshes about Jupiter?
